Randy loves Kerrie, that much is obvious, and everyone loves Kerrie and Randy. These two sweethearts had the most romantic and intimate backyard wedding at their lakefront home in Pewaukee. Friends and family of the bride and groom lent their skills and talent to pull off this stunning DIY wedding. From the hand collected driftwood, the beautiful floral arrangements, the men’s grooming, hair and make-up, their officiant, that boat, etc., etc., etc., this wedding had touches of love from everyone. I’ve know Kerrie for many years, we first met at the BonTon photo studios, and I loved her from the moment I met her. When she asked me to photograph her and Randy’s wedding day I was simply thrilled! Randy and Kerrie are both a joy to be around and a delight to photograph (could either of them be any more beautiful?!), and I am so happy to share the story of their wedding day.
Allie and Brad’s wedding at Gesu Church and the Pritzlaff had all the makings for a classic urban Milwaukee affair. Allie and Brad have a love story that goes back to high school, but they really sealed their fate together while they both attended college at Marquette in downtown Milwaukee. With their solid romantic beginnings at the highly influential campus it is no surprise they planned their wedding to take place at the stunning Gesu Church. After their I do’s were sealed with a kiss we had a blast taking photos around campus and the magical St. Joan of Arc Chapel. Florist extroidinaire, Feisty Flowers, provided the soft pastel blooms that complimented the fresh spring blooms dotting the campus. From there we headed to their reception venue, the Pritzlaff, and were dazzled by the transformation of the space by Blue Fancy Events.
Melody Sopa Artistry provided the bride and bridal party with beautiful make-up that lasted all day and night.
That dress! Those flowers! The classic tuxes! Leslie and Derek’s wedding was the perfect blend of modern, romantic and traditional. I had been looking forward to photographing their wedding since I first met Leslie last year… I was not disappointed. Full of grace and poise the newlyweds obvious bond resonated throughout their wedding day, and it was a true pleasure to be a part of it.
