Milwaukee Public Market Wedding

When I met Paul and Maia for the first time I really hoped that I’d be lucky enough to be their chosen photographer.  I loved their wiffle ball love story and their perseverance with a period of long distance between them.  It also turned out that Paul and I used to be neighbors!  What are the odds of that?  Lucky for me I got to be their wedding photographer, because it was truly a quintessential stunner of a Milwaukee wedding day!  Paul is the manager of the celebrated Milwaukee Public Market in downtown.  It didn’t take much persuasion from Maia and his co-workers to realize that the perfect wedding reception location was just under his nose, and even most of his vendors including Form Fine Goods + Floral (those olive branches!).  There were so many incredible moments on their wedding day full of love and laughter.  I loved their first look on the top of Zen on 7, and also Maia and her father’s first look (wait until you see his reaction!).  Still reeling in the amount of love between this couple and their special day.

Milwaukee Public Market Wedding

There are so many things about this wedding that I just adored.  From the first time I met with Hannah and Will at Anodyne in Bayview, I knew this wedding was going to be the quintessential Milwaukee wedding.  It was only fitting that that they got married just down the street from their new home at the Bayview United Methodist Church.  Hannah and Will’s vision really came alive with careful planning at attention to detail.  The red and blue color palette tied their entire day together:  from the stained glass at the church, to our photo walking tour of the Third Ward, and the Public Market itself.  It was simply a pleasure photographing these sweetheart’s wedding day!
