One of the great things about calling Milwaukee home, is that the great city of Chicago is the cool neighbor straight to the south. I was so excited to meet with Amy and Carlie for their engagement session in Logan Square. Logan square is so colorful, full of incredible graffiti and bustling streets, which really helped brighten up this gloomy day. We played around with some of the fun art before going a little more industrial under the “L”. I love a couple willing to explore locations that may appear at first glance less than appealing, but there was nothing but love and beauty in front of my lens that day.
These two are incredibly smitten with each other, and that made documenting their love a breeze. If this engagement photo session was any indication, I know their wedding day will be full of beauty, love, and laughter. Andy proposed to Katie at Cook Park in Libertyville, and they wanted to have their photos taken where their journey began. I love when my couples choose a location that is important to them – I get to be continuously inspired by new destinations, and document the significance of the spaces.
There are so many incredible weddings coming up for me this summer and this adorable couple is one of them. Jessica and Steve had their engagement photo session at one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee, Lake Park. I am always inspired when I get to photograph at this classically beautiful park and having a pair so in love truly tops the cake. Now, I just have to wait just over 6 weeks until their wedding day!
